All websites, including this one, have web logs on their servers which show us how many people visit our pages each month, what countries they live in and what search engine they used to find us. This is normal, and does not reveal your name or your email or your address. We will never see those unless you choose to contact us in some way, or fill in a form — as you would to make a purchase or to join a mailing list for a newsletter or other information.

We do not send emails to you or anyone else unless they have requested information from us. We do not make such details available to anyone else. We do not sell our information to anyone else. And if you are on our mailing list, you can "opt out" at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of your email from us.

If you choose to buy something from us, for example an ebook or a special report to download, your credit card details remain confidential. We never see them, and they are not stored on our computers. We use Paypal or Clickbank to process such sales, and they have extremely secure, encrypted systems. The details are available on their respective websites.

This site may have links to other sites, where we have chosen to point to or recommend some product or service to you. In such cases, we may be an affiliate of the company selling the service or product, and if you buy from them we would eventually receive an agreed commission on that sale. With Amazon, for example, the commission on a hard copy book or a video DVD might be around 3%. For a downloadable ebook, our commission could be as high as 50% or more.

Any affiliate commission we receive is never a loss to you. You would pay the same price even if you went directly to the merchant. The affiliate commission is paid by the seller to his affiliates (commission-only sales force) for having sent them a sale they might never have seen otherwise.

These commissions pay for this website and its content (photos and text) to be up here on the internet for you.

Advertising. Some pages on this site contain advertisements where we are paid to show the ads, or we may be paid when somebody clicks on the ad and is taken to an advertiser's web site. There may be links from this site to outside sites we have felt might be relevant or of interest to our readers. However, we are not responsible for the content on other people's web sites.
